A few weeks back, I took my dog out for a walk in the early hours. Among so many other things that I keep adding in my to-do list, one of them was to buy a new dog collar and dog lead for my always-growing German-shepherd. I was still managing well and the dog lead I had wasn’t flimsy, but not so strong either.
From the other side of the road, I saw a guy walking his baby Rottweiler. What went wrong between the two dogs, I still don’t know. My dog started growling at the other dog and within seconds, became uncontrollable. While I was trying to get him orderly, suddenly the dog lead snapped and what was left in my hands was just the corner I was holding.
Later, when I came home, I immediately went to the store to get my dog a new pair of dog collar and dog lead. While I was at the store, I recollected that my friend in neighbourhood has a cat and she should also have a cat collar and a cat lead. So, I picked up the stuff for the both of us and headed home.
The same day in the evening, I met my neighbour and told her about the fiasco in the morning. She told me that the same thing had happened with a friend of hers who she met at the animal clinic in the morning. We both got so involved discussing the importance of good quality cat collars, cat leads, dog collars and dog leads.
